Differential backup

Differential backup allows users to copy files created or changed since the last full or incremental backup. It does not mark files as having been backed up. If you are performing a combination of full and differential backups, restoration of files and folders requires that you have the last full as well as the last differential backup.

Testimonials and User Comments

Just wanted you all to know that here on the road at a customer site I was foiled at using Ghost (and in particular being able to download Ghost after purchasing it) and so hit Google for an alternative. I found Acronis True Image and it absolutely rocked! From creating a boot CD on installation (which is what I really needed), to finding my USB drive flawlessly, to managing a multi-partition Linux drive clone, you saved my butt and I am thankful.
