From the web, if you select multiple files, they are zipped up and downloaded rather quickly. No waiting around for the server to find and package up the files for you.
If you choose to restore via the Windows application, you check the files you want to restore and then choose the download location. Within a few seconds, the download starts and shortly thereafter, you have your restored files.

The desktop application is as easy to use as any other I've tested on Windows. Sign in to your account, select the files you want to upload, and fire up the backup job. You can back up multiple computers into the same storage space

I just wanted to write and say "Thank You" for your new Acronis Online Backup service. I configured it to backup my PC daily in about 90 seconds. It runs in the background and I don't think about it.
Last month, my hard drive crashed with years of digital photos of my kids, videos, email, and financial data. It cost me $300 and hours of time to get the hard drive rebuilt. When it happened, I had a new hard drive sitting on my desk - I was just avoiding installing it. We back up our pictures every 6 months IF we think about it. I have a friend at work whose house burned to the ground - I think about that when we put the DVD of pictures right next to the computer. The service is like an online safety deposit box, as your tag line says.

When I travel, I do like being able to access files from home, too
